Three games into each Conference Final, we have seen six unbelievable games, all coming down to the last minute. From the thievery taking place both in Los Angeles
and in Denver to big shots by multiple people on each team, some incredible basketball is taking place. It has been some time since both Conference Finals series have been this highly competitive, that you truly cannot say which team is going to take the series. True, at the onset of this year's playoffs, many people automatically said that it was going to be a Lakers-Cavaliers series. Then the Lakers became a subpar struggling team and all of a sudden, people began to write off the Lakers just as they immediately counted the Magic out of the series against a dominant Cleveland team.
However, the level of basketball we are seeing from there four teams this series has truly been remarkable. Watching forty-eight minutes of each game has definitely been an entertaining experience. Now... it really is in the air as to which teams we will see in the NBA finals. And this is largely in part due to just good basketball, offense and defense (for the most part).
But as I, myself say that...I am more and more finding it harder to believe. Because through it all, in each game, there has been one consistent thing: MENTAL LAPSES.
