So women call out their favorite MLB player...physically. We're nearing the MLB All-Star Game, which many deem useless, and we're still stuck with no football. The NBA Draft comes and goes with some huge trades and some rookie drama as well as some pretty questionable draft picks. Glen Davis may not be a Celtic next year. That could be big for Beantown. And one blogger has a curious thought about Larry Bird.
Took a quick hiatus, but the BSO Daily Line is back.
Can I be honest with you?
The shot that Glen "Big Baby" hit was very nice. Anytime you hit a game winning shot in the playoffs you should be applauded.
You do it on the road and it is even more impressive.
You do it to save your team from going down 3-1 in the series is something you should pound your chest about and be very proud of.
So Big Baby should have as many Twinkies and Ding Dongs as his heart desires tonight because he is sitting on top of the world.

This season has been no different as they are at the near bottom of the Western Conference, at 13-40, tied for the third worst record in the entire NBA. Looking back at the off season, things weren't supposed to be like this. Baron Davis was talking about coming to the Clippers, because he wants to be in LA to produce, and specifically, play with Elton Brand - and take the Clippers to the playoffs.
Then Brand stopped replying to Coach Mike Dunleavy's texts, but somehow the Clippers worked it out, still keeping Baron Davis and bringing in Marcus Camby and Ricky Davis. The Clippers still had an, arguably...playoff team. But the Clippers never had a full squad during all of training camp, and injuries have plagued the team throughout the season.
But weeks later, the Clippers are beginning to show some light, and the once-ridiculed Mike Dunleavy doesn't seem to appear so incredibly foolish anymore.

If you looking for the latest crowning achievements from All-Star point guard, Baron Davis, you won't find them on the court. Adding the notch of filmmaker to his belt of All-star NBA player and film critic (click here for Baron Davis' movie reviews), 29 year old Davis has taken to the streets to chronicle the infamous history and turf war between the Bloods and Crips in LA as well as the lasting effects the gangs have had on the community. Davis' describes the documentary as "a social awareness film told from both sides for the audience to educate themselves and formulate their own opinion." With narration by Oscar award winning actor, Forest Whitaker, the documentary that Variety says "It's impossible to look away from the screen" takes you from slavery to the notorious gangs origins and current state of the gangs today.

What is the nicest way I can say this?
You know I don't condone cursing on the site but come on man you can't be crying on the bench when your team is up by 20. You are a role player, a glorified 12th man and players like Kevin Garnett make you a lot more popular than you are. You could be playing in Charlotte or Oklahoma City then you would have sometime to cry about.
I don't care if KG said he was going to have a 3some with your girlfriend and your sister shut your trap. Actually I am going to let The Rock explain what you need to do:
Honestly I am frighten of Mike Singletary. If I am a player on the 49ers right now when I come to work on Monday I know I better:
1- Be a team player.
2- Be working my ass off.
3- Keep my mouth shut and just do my job.
Vernon Davis is a classic example of a player who thought he was entitled to everything because he was a high 1st round draft pick. I guarantee you right now he has come to the conclusion that we all have. It doesn't matter if you are a #1 pick or a street free agent Mike Singletary are going to play the best players and when I say best "best players" I don't mean the best physically, but the best "team players".

Have you ever wondered if Al Davis is just a robot now? Like it is his body, but his mind has been invaded by aliens or something? I was a big Raiders fan growing up. You know I am already anti-everything, so of course I was attracted to the Silver and Black, so it pains me to see the franchise become such a laughingstock. The press conference today firing Lane Kiffin to me seemed more like a WWE or Floyd Mayweather press conference than an actual professional event. You could almost hear the reporters laughing in the back.
I am confident that Lane Kiffin wanted to get fired and every probably went about trying to get fired, but could you really blame him? It was a no win situation which makes you wonder why Davis hired him in the first place. I think Kiffin had a little too much Jon Gruden in him for his liking. But instead of looking at the past it is time to look toward the future if I want to be able to wear my Tim Brown throwback with pride we are going to have to fix the situation. Here are three things that need to happen for the Raiders to get back to prominence:

The NBA season is over, the champion has been crowned, and the draft has come and gone. It is now free agency time, and already there is a big name talent leaving his team for another team. This is not another story of a man who wants more money. This is the story of a man who had his feelings hurt as his coach publicly criticized him in a harsh way.
After hearing about Baron Davis' departure, fans of the Golden State Warriors have to be feeling a sense of déjà vu. Once again, an all-star and team leader has left the Warrior franchise during a time of success.
