Every human on this earth would like to be remembered when they die, and honored, much like they would do for a fallen soldier of the military or a former player's tragic death. If that person is alive, I'm not sure how well that would go over. The story of Tommy Farrer and the honor his former team bestowed upon him is one such story. Growing up in Chicago (you'll have to excuse me for that), and being a Bear fan (I know...bad team...), it didn't really stop me from realizing that former Ohio State Buckeye and Minnesota Viking left tackle Korey Stringer was one of the biggest and baddest men on the planet. I admired him from afar.
When he died August 1, 2001, my heart dropped. How could someone so young and vibrant pass away during two-a-days? We may be finding out very soon.
