So women call out their favorite MLB player...physically. We're nearing the MLB All-Star Game, which many deem useless, and we're still stuck with no football. The NBA Draft comes and goes with some huge trades and some rookie drama as well as some pretty questionable draft picks. Glen Davis may not be a Celtic next year. That could be big for Beantown. And one blogger has a curious thought about Larry Bird.

Took a quick hiatus, but the BSO Daily Line is back.

So Donovan McDiva had a little pow wow with upper management where months after the fact he is still crying over being bench and wanted an apology. Here is my message to Donovan:

GET OVER IT

First I have to give credit to Troy Aikman for the line of the year so far:

"SOMETIMES I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS RUNNING THROUGH THAT GUY'S HEAD"

Secondly if you saw the broadcast you know Joe Buck made about 78 excuses for McNabb's actions before realizing that it was classless. This is the same Joe Buck who went ballistic on Randy Moss for a fake mooning and is critical of Terrell Owens for sneezing incorrectly, but when it is one of his "guys" then it was the "pressure". He is lucky this is a PG site or I would have some stronger language about what I think about that.

Bias sports media at its finest.

Now what that being said I have seen a lot worst so nothing everyone should get their panties in a bunch over, but this isn't the first time that Donovan McNabb has done some questionable taunting that the media has overlooked. Maybe he was calling to clarify those tie rules for the playoffs. I will be very very curious to see how this is reported on or if it is even mentioned. If it was Philip Rivers everyone would be all over him. Of course I am going to make sure everyone knows about it, so we shall see. Remember who broke it first.

PS- Anytime I can get New Edition in a video I am doing it. Sue me.

Once again I will point out the 4th down play that changed the game and I am not talking about the two 4th quarter ones that the Giants failed to convert. With a minute and half to go in the 2nd quarter and the score 7-5 the Giants faced a 4th and 1 deep in Eagles territory. Once again the game announcers led by the #1 bias play by play guy of all time Joe Buck made sure everyone in the world knew that the Giants should kicked the field goal and go into halftime with the lead totally ignoring the fact there was still a minute and half left to go in the 2nd quarter.

Tom Coughlin who won the Super Bowl by being bold and aggressive decided to play it safe I had a bad feeling for the Giants from t hat point on.

When the Eagles marched down the field to kick their own Field Goal something that Joe Buck obviously thought was an impossibility I wrote in my notebook:

"GAME OVER"

More incredibly but predictably Joe Buck never went on to say that it might have been in the Giants best interest to show that they weren't scared and should have went for the throats of the Eagles instead of sending the message to the Eagles that they were fearful of failure and in turn giving the Eagles all the momentum. I will repeat this again, this is the NFL playoffs:

IF YOU ARE SCARED GO TO CHURCH

I was not surprised that the Eagles stuffed them on two 4th quarter 4th downs because it had already been established who was the team playing scared and who was the team who was playing to win.

I mentioned in my preview of the game that one of the few ways the Giants could lose is if Eli Manning played like "God" Favre and unfortunately for Giants fans he did. He was horrible. He made one good pass the entire day. As we are learning in the playoffs there are two things you need to win. A good defense and a mistake free Quarterback. It wasn't Delhomme bad, but it was awful.

I would also like to mention all of those talking heads who said immediately after Plaxico Burress went busting shots in the club that he would not be miss and who will now flip flop their opinions don't think I don't see you because I do.

Playoff Record Straight Up: N/A

Playoff Record Against The Spread: N/A

Happy New Year!!! "Ya Boy" is back after easily defeating Amber Fox in the Super Model vs. BonaFide Expert pickem challenge it is time to get serious. I will be picking every single NFL Playoff game all the way up to the Super Bowl straight up and against the spread and I guarantee you after these playoffs you will be able to "Make it Rain".

Two things in my opinion changed things forever for Donovan McNabb.

1- When he blew the Super Bowl.
2- He let T.O. leave the building over his ego.

My thoughts on Donovan McNabb are well documented. He has been a very good quarterback over his years in Philly, but the fact of the matter behind the scenes there are a lot of people in his own locker room who don't believe he was ever the leader he needed to be. Too many times he sided with management over the players. Too many times he came up short in big games. He is the reason that Terrell Owens is not in Philadelphia anymore. Since T.O. left the building he has made the playoffs every year in Dallas, while the Eagles have only made it once. The facts are the facts.

Somewhere Vince Young is saying:

"This dude isn't too bright."

Are you kidding me? I wouldn't even have believed it, if the words didn't come out of his mouth in the post game press conference.

I don't expect all athletes to be scholars, but come on DMac know the rules at least. It is bad enough that Bernard Hopkins gave you the verbal beat down last week and you played like crap against the Bengals, but you are making all football players look bad.

The "Dumb Jock" theory is once again in play. What did he think was going happen? No wonder the Eagles have such bad clock management. Donovan must think the game goes on infinitely until the Eagles win, no wonder he is so casual in the 2 minute drill. Of course that is when he isn't throwing up on the field.

Can someone please pull Donovan's Wonderlic scores ASAP.

Here are a few quotes from Owens made to the Associated Press about his relationship with Donovan McNabb and why he didn't think it worked out in Philly.

"I will say that Donovan made me a better receiver in Philadelphia, but I think Donovan would have a hard time admitting I made him a better quarterback," he said.

Owens also suggested their problems were the result of McNabb being insecure about Owens' popularity surpassing that of the quarterback, saying, "I remember being in that stadium and hearing them chanting my name, and that couldn't bode well for Donovan."

When asked about how it seemed Philly dominated the NFC East when he was an Eagle, much as the Cowboys are doing now, Owens suggested it was largely because he had changed teams. "The common denominator was me being in both places, but I will let you make that assessment," he said.

As someone who had contact with both T.O.'s inner circle and members of the Eagles around that time what Owens is saying it completely true. Many players on the Eagles felt that McNabb who has always been overly sensitive was jealous of the shine Owens was getting and was secretly the reason he was suspended by the Eagles in 2005. The numbers don't lie though since T.O. left the Eagles have been an average team and Dallas has been elite. When T.O. was with the Eagles they were elite and went to the Super Bowl. So who do you think was right and who do you think was wrong?
