ESPN is reporting that the New Orleans Hornets have agreed to send Tyson Chandler to the Oklahoma City Thunder today. Who the Hornets will receive in return is to be determined, but it's speculated that forwards Joe Smith and Chris Wilcox, both players with expiring contracts will be the bulk of the deal. What seems like a downgrade for the Hornets, the reason for the trade seems to be the ongoing dwindling economy.

Also traded earlier, the Boston Celtics sent little-used Sam Cassell to the Sacramento Kings for a future second round draft pick in 2015. Cassell who hasn't played a game with the Celtics this year, has taken the role of player-coach to mentor the younger Rajon Rondo and Gabe Pruitt. It is unknown whether or not the Kings will keep him or waive him.

In Phoenix, sources are also saying that with Alvin Gentry taking control of the Phoenix Suns, the run-and-gun Suns will be put into effect, thus making Stoudemire valuable to the Suns. It is likely that the Suns will no longer trade him before the deadline.

There's also a lot of talk about a Vince Carter/Tracy McGrady reuniting in Houston...could it be too late?

The NBA trading deadline is this Thursday.

WATCH THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE BCS CHAMPIONSHIP GAME ABOVE

Before I get to the breakdown of the game there is one thing that is bothering me and it simply has to be addressed. I understand that Tim Tebow is a great college player, but whoever voted for him over Percy Harvin for offensive player of the game should have their ass kicked by Brock Lesner. If Harvin doesn't play effectively the Gators lose it is as simple as that. I understand Tebow is "God's Quarterback", but show some intelligence when handing out awards.

Now with that off of my chest let me talk about the game a bit. Once again everything I mentioned in my "5 Reasons" video came true:

1- SEC supremacy

They are undefeated in BCS championship games.

2- Defense

Oklahoma came in scoring about 700 points a game and was held to 14. A 4th down stand, an end of the half interception and a game changing 4th quarter interception sealed the game.

3- Heisman Curse

Sam Bradford played ok, but similar to other Heisman winners he struggled when it matter the most.

4- Tim Tebow

Shook off horrible early decision making that lead to two interceptions to lead his team on big drives to win the game.

5- Percy Harvin

Best player on the field point blank period.

A couple of things are obvious.

Greg Oden went down with a pretty bad ankle sprain last night against the Lakers. It got me to wondering if Oden is cursed. More specifically the curse of Sam Bowie?

Big men in Portland especially franchise ones have had a hard time staying healthy. Bowie and Bill Walton immediately come to mind.

Oden first off looks 47 and could it be possible that his body isn't built for the rigors of the NBA?

I hope it all works out for him, but there was a reason I said Kevin Durant should have been the #1 pick in the draft.

I don't even know how to describe what I am looking at right now. Seriously it is unnatural to have your face caved in like that. Especially considering Sam Peter's face is not that great to begin with.

I once asked Floyd Mayweather how does it feel to get hit his response was:

"Rob you see this face I have never been hit"

So he wasn't much help. I have been to plenty of boxing events and I am telling you, you have to be a real man to continue to get beat on for 12 rounds and those gloves are much protection.
