Despite confirmed reports of T.O. public outbursts against Romo, Whitten and offensive coordinator, Jason Garrett combined with his conquer and divide locker room conquest, Jerry Jones would like you to ignore your common sense for a less than firm grasp on the obvious reason why Terrell Owens was axed from the Dallas Cowboys. Wait for it....wait...ok here it is....the Cowboys cut him and it had nothing to do with his off field performance and the best thing for all the Cowboys involved was to part ways.

Jerry Jones told ESPN

"...Many things that you think about when you make a decision on a player. At least I do. I have the loyalty to Roy Williams and the future what we have with Roy, I'm excited about Roy so heavy and the picks we gave up in this draft. I'm excited about him and we really need to emphasis everything we can, as far as Tony and the quarterbacking, relative to the scales of Roy Williams..."

What??? Somewhere in that cockamamy reasoning of Jones, the "real" reason T.O. was given his walking papers is lost in translation in Jones' incoherent babbling. Maybe Jones' was having a "senior moment" because if I didn't know better he's excusing himself from the single decision that will undoubtedly cast a dark cloud over Dallas Cowboys playoff contentions next season.

But hey! Like Jones said. They have Dallas' next "Messiah" at wide receiver in Roy Williams. Trent Edwards and the Bills have T.O.,everyone is happy right? After all, one man's trash is another man's treasure no matter how chipped, cracked, tarnished and threebtime hand me downs it is*smile

The NFL season gets kicked into high octane in the second week with the Eagles and the Cowboys facing off this week. NFL fans know this is must-see tv, these two squads have been rivals for decades, they both look to be good teams this year and they play in the best division in football to complete the trifecta.

From the Eagles fans cheering a hurt Michael Irvin as he lay on Veterans Stadium turf, to T.O. throwing shots at McNabb as his relationship deteriorated with the Eagles, there's no love lost between these teams. In Philly there are 11 commandments, somewhere in between 'Thou shall not kill' and 'Thou shall not commit adultery' you'll find: thou shall not show up at Eagles game or sports bar in a Cowboys jersey. The hate is a little more serious than the hate for the Giants or the 'Skins. It stems from the nature of Philly fans because of the city's inferiority complex and blue collar attitude. "America's Team" represents the total opposite in the eyes of Philadelphia fans, Romo, Jessica, Jerry Jones, T.O.= Hollywood... you get the point. The underline battle is the have's verse the have not's, at least this is how Philly fans view it. Of course the T.O. saga is still a thorn in the side of the die-hard Eagle fans, not to mention the Super Bowl count is 5 to none in favor of the 'Boys.

In the first week the Eagles stumped out a bunch of average dudes who obviously stole the St. Louis Rams uniforms this past week, while the Cowboys breezed by the Cleveland Browns. Well this week should be a test to see where both teams are at. It's a hard game to call because of the fact that the Rams refused to play anything that can be passed off as defense. I'm scratching my head trying to figure out why the Rams still haven't fired anyone yet? I'm not yet sold on the Eagles offense being this good with questions at the receiver position coming into the season, and putting up 38 points with backups.

T.O. showed off his new chick at the "Hancock" movie premiere. She gets the Bona Fide thumbs up from me. Of course black women across the country rolled their eyes at the sight of another black athlete with a white woman on his arm. Of course these are the same women who pledge their allegiance to Barack Obama's "Change" initiative and swear by Oprah Winfrey. How about changing your attitude about this subject? Doesn't matter if you are black, white, green, yellow or orange it is your choice who you want to date and if we are talking about making a change the change first has to come from the man/woman in the mirror.

Do you believe me now? I told you years ago that T.O. wasn't a bad guy even when the entire world (and especially Skip Bayless) said he was the worse person in professional sports. Just the thought was ludicrous considering the police blotter is always filled with professional athletes and Owens has never been in trouble with the law. I told you that Owens main problem in Philadelphia and San Francisco was trusting the media (yes I am talking to you ESPN) and saying things that everyone else was thinking. I told you that the majority of the Eagles were in T.O.'s corner not Donovan McNabb. When he went to Dallas I told you it wouldn't be a problem no matter how hard the media would try to make it out to be. They say T.O. is a team obliterator (thanks again Skip), but every team he has been on has been successful. Ironic isn't it.

So it is good to know the Jerry Jones ignores all the negative stuff and concentrates on what is important. T.O. has produced big time with the Cowboys and he deserves his contract extension and unlike the Eagles who try to be hard asses with their players (which is why they will never win a Super Bowl under Andy Reid) Jerry Jones knows how to keep his players happy. With that being said what is up with the hat Terrell (obviously a Photoshop hopefully anyway)?
