"Mile High Thugs"? To hear Mark Cuban tell it, that's just what the Denver Nuggets are and now Kenyon Martin's mom,Lydia Moore knows that includes her son too. Reportedly after a Carmelo Anthony sinked the game winning 3 pointer putting the Nuggets up 106-105 after an overlooked foul by Antoine Wright with 1 second left in regulation, Cuban stormed off the court and upon seeing Lydia Moore implied her son was a "thug." Cuban admits he told Ms.Moore "That includes her son" after hearing fans yell out that the Nuggets were "thugs."

While the Mavs spoiled billionaire owner denies it, Martin's agent claims Cuban hit K-Mart's mom with a "Your son is a punk!" slap to the face gram just a day before Mother's Day.

Ok, I am trying to figure this out...did Erick Dampier really tell the media that the next time Tony Parker comes into the lane, he's going to put him on his back? Dampier? Let's keep in mind, this is Shaq's favorite center to play against...calling him Erica.

Shaq also said that Erick Dampier would be a great center...if he played in the WNBA.

I can't wait to see what Damp will do when Tony Parker blows by Jason Kidd on the regular tonight, as he did all Game 2. The NBA looked into fining the Dallas Mavericks center, but concluded that there was no reason to fine him, but will watch the topic closely. Basically...he's going to foul out tonight in limited minutes, and Dallas will lose their first home game of the playoffs? Basically.

To counteract the NBA's efforts to potentially suspend Dampier, the Mavericks pointed out that in his five years with the Mavericks, Erick Dampier has only had two flagrant fouls...Somewhere, Shaq is still laughing. Sometimes, little things can ruin a whole series. This just might have been the tipping point for the Mavericks, not for the playoffs...but here comes a full roster shift, starting with Erica.

Enter Shaquille O'Neal. Exit Erick Dampier?

I am convinced that NBA Commissioner David Stern has a Napoleon complex. Why else would he fine Mark Cuban $25,000 for a "Twitter Message"?

Is it really that serious? It is Twitter not 60 Minutes (by the way if you think Lebron did that shot in one take you are fooling yourself).

By the way I am giving out free tips on how to be a successful blogger at:

Is anything sacred anymore? You can even get your Twitter on without being fined. If I was fined every time I said something critical on Twitter I would have to borrow money from Cuban. I probably would be arrested in fourteen states as well, but you have to follow me to find out exactly what things I am talking about. Definitely not all sports related last night had to do with a Limo, some Crown Royal and a bootleg Cinemax After Dark movie, but I digress.

You can follow Mr. Cuban (he is real friendly) at http://www.twitter.com/mcuban

If each player can't take the personal initiative to make every game important and play like it, I don't see them being here next season. -Mark Cuban, Dallas Mavericks owner

We all know Mark Cuban. More for his commentary than anything else, but nonetheless, we all know who Mark Cuban is. We know of the highly advanced Dallas locker room, and the competitive drive that parallels his high expectations. In 2006, the Avery Johnson coached Mavericks went to the NBA Finals and were up two games to none against the Miami Heat. Then what happened? Oh yeah, Dwayne Wade happened.

Since then, it was almost as if the Mavericks never recovered. But Cuban remained hesitant and breaking up the core of the team, because they were that close back in 2006. Has recent struggles and un-energetic and seemingly non-motivated play this season draw the line for Cuban?

So it appears Mark Cuban has gone Martha Stewart with a little inside trading that has gotten him in trouble with the SEC. Before I get into the logistics of the case I must say I find the domain name of the company in question hilarious.

Mamma.com

Now this site is a search engine, but still hilarious nevertheless.

With that being said personally I don't get "insider trading". If someone happens to let me know there business is going under I don't call that "Inside Trading" I call that being a good friend.

Honestly if you could conveniently save $750,000 by a little birdie dropping something in you ear you would do it 100 times out of a 100 times. Obviously the SEC saw a big fish in Mark Cuban and decided to go after him. It is the same reason Michael Vick is in jail for 2 years for Dog Fighting whereas the people who actually ran the Dog Fighting ring didn't even get a year. But I digress. Cuban will pay a fine and we will never hear about this again, but interesting nevertheless.

I am sure Mamma.com will get more traffic today than they have since they open and ironically that may boost their stock. Maybe Cuban should have saved a couple of shares.

Dirk choked and the refs help the Heat win the 2006 NBA Championship. From that point on. the Mavericks were destined to do one of two things:

1- Come back stronger and more determined than ever.
2- Flame out like Johnny Storm.

Unfortunately for Avery Johnson the Mavs choose door #2. The team has deteriorated quicker than Roger Clemens asking 15 year olds back to his hotel room. Nothing worse than a team whose best player isn't a "serial killer" (Dirk), whose "Scottie Pippen" player (Josh Howard) is more interested in smoking that "Ricky Williams" than improving his game and whose point guard (Jason Kidd) is more likely to beat down his wife that make an open jumper or heaven forbid defend an opposing point guard.

Just remember that Mark Cuban had a chance to trade for Shaq (when he eventually got traded to the Heat) in his semi-prime and Kobe in his prime, but he didn't want to let go of Dirk with whom he has a "man-crush" on. Maybe Cuban should have fired himself as opposed to Avery Johnson.
