One of my favorite shows of all time is “Cheaters”. By now everyone should have seen at least one episode of this show and if you haven’t you should. The premise is very simple: one person in the relationship thinks the other is cheating, so they hire Cheaters to follow them to get the evidence. After they collect the evidence they bust the guilty party in a public place and hilarity ensues (except for that time the host Joey Grieco got shanked by someone who didn’t think it was so funny). Just imagine if BSO had a show called Cheaters:

Every team has new faces, and in turn every team has some uncertainties heading into opening kickoff weekend. There’s been a big uproar over the last week regarding Bryant Gumbel’s comments about Gene Upshaw, head of the NFL Player’s Association. Basically calling Upshaw the lapdog of the NFL Commissioner, Gumbel suggested that he was the worst of all the union heads out there. Was he correct to tear down gene Upshaw like he did? It appears not.

If you have never been to Vegas you are definitely missing out. It is one of those places that you have to go to at least once in your lifetime. Luckily for your Bonfide Sports Expert I was able to secure some press tickets for the Hasim Rahman vs. Oleg Maskaev fight, so I was able to make my maiden voyage to Vegas where I stay at the luxurious MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.

Here is all you need to know about how crazy Fantasy Football can be. I am going to give you an example of 2 leagues I was in last year. The first league thanks to some expert drafting I went 12-0 in the regular season. I was unstoppable and unbeatable. There was no question I was going to be the champion, then BAM!!!! I was knocked out in the 1st round of the playoffs by a 7-7 team. The 2nd league I was in, thanks to the horror of the Donovan McNabb and T.O. soap opera, I limped to an 8-6 record, but made the playoffs. Thanks to Larry Johnson and Ricky Williams (yes that Ricky Williams of all people) I dominated on my way to the championship beating a team that was 14-0 going in. The point of telling you these stories is to let you know that Fantasy Football can be wildly unpredictable and that is what makes it fun, but if you want to have an opportunity to wear the crown in your league you have to follow these 10 Commandments.

Philadelphia GM Billy King came extremely close to making the biggest mistake of his lackluster tenure as the main personnel man in the Sixers’ organization. For the past several months he has been shopping Allen Iverson, former MVP and multiple scoring champion who’s coming off a season where he averaged 33 points a game. And while he backed off last week when he saw that no one would give him equal value since they knew he was desperate, he still may make a deal with someone next year if the team’s fortunes don’t improve this coming season.
