At present time your Bona Fide Sports Expert, does not have a Bona Fide Sports Expert Jr. Hopefully in the future an Heir to the Throne of sports journalism will be born and just like any other father who is a sports lover, I would like for my boy to grow to be a football player. The reason is because like Al Bundy I was a pee-wee football star (ran back a punt for a TD first time I touch the ball) I was a high school football star (7 catches 150 yards 2 TDs in my last high school football game, playoff loss that was the QB fault for playing like “Garbage” Harrington) and a Flag football monster at The Ohio State University (3 intramural championship playing the Slash Role of QB, WR and safety, before I got a girlfriend and realized there was something better than the thrill of victory if you know what I mean). The NFL is my expertise, I watch every game twice (once on the NFL Sunday Ticket, then on DIRECTV shortcuts on Thursday) and I have decided when Junior Littal does come into this world I am going to make him into a World Class Punter.

What???????????????? Please let me explain.

Wow! What a game seven! I can’t really say much that hasn’t already been said and quite frankly I’m trying to put it all behind me. Suffice it to say game 7 of the 2006 NLCS had everything you could want in a classic; brilliant pitching, amazing defense, questionable managerial decisions, unlikely late inning heroes and unlikely late inning goats. Endy Chavez made one of the most memorable catches of all time but, in the end St. Louis was victorious and ended the once promising season of the NY Mets.

Did you know that Joe Buck is the father of BlackSportsOnline.com? Only the most loyal readers of this site know the story of how Joe Buck sparked an idea in my head that would turn me from being a wanna-be rapper, into the Bona Fide Sports expert you see now; with the hottest sports website in the land. The story in written form doesn’t sufficiently express how I felt at the time, so I have included a video of my account on how BlackSportsOnline was born.

I don’t like the sports media. I know that may sound backwards, since I can be considered a part of the sports media. It is like being born into something, but as you grow up you realize that your beliefs don’t match up. The reason that I don’t like the sports media is because of the bias and the hypocrisy that is flowing freely and poisoning the minds of fans all over the world.

Well my friends, I have officially declared this week T.O. week. The formal prodigal son of the city of Brotherly Love will be returning to Philly this week for one of the most anticipated games of the year. From the day that Owens signed on the dotted line with the Eagles in 2004 until his alleged and highly publicized suicide attempt last week, he has been a lightening rod.
