Tila Tequila Finally Releases Her Statement Via TMZ
After promising via her twitter yesterday “judgment day” was coming on Wednesday in regards to her accusations against Shawne Merriman, Tila Tequilla was awfully quiet today. She also deleted those tweets (of course BSO had them all saved here) stating the truth would would come out today.
Just before Midnight eastern time Tila’s lawyer finally issued a statement.
Not via CNN, ESPN, Yahoo or even BSO. They decided to release it via TMZ.com.
I have no issues with TMZ, but if you want people to believe this is nothing but a grab for attention TMZ is not the right place to issue a statement. It just makes it seem like this is all for show. This is a serious allegation that can have long term effects on the career and life of Shawne Merriman. Not to mention the effect it would have on women who are truly being abused.

To be honest the statement doesn’t say anything except that Shawne Merriman is lying. It doesn’t give any facts or evidence to dispute what Merriman has said.
This is looking more and more like a publicity stunt and that is really sad cause domestic abuse is not something that should be use to jump start your failing reality show career.
It is a shame the lengths that will go through for fifteen minutes of fame.
I didn't realize that something as serious as Tila is alledging had to wait and be filled with suspense before being made public. Where are the bruises that should be left on her if she was assaulted by an all-pro linebacker? I don't think her kung fu is strong enough to fight him off, so she had to either have some kind of bruises/marks on her or she should have left some on him. I know most women who feel threatened will fight back, scratch, bite, something like that. I agree that she's really damaging the legal process for women who truly have been assaulted or otherwise harmed by men. This better not be an attempt to get more viewers to her sad reality show (well, assuming is sad cause I never wanted to watch it).
