Breaking News: UConn CB Jasper Howard Murdered In Campus Stabbing

Definitely not the news I wanted to wake up to. According to the Courant.com, Howard was stabbed outside the Student Union around 12:30am.
Two people were stabbed after a school sponsored dance.
Obviously a senseless murder and I would not be shocked if alcohol and a woman was the root cause of the altercation.
Howard had just played one of the best games of his life in Uconn’s victory over Louisville (11 tackles and a force fumble).
The perpetrator is still at large. I hope he is caught and punished to the highest extent of the law. I don’t care what the argument was about or who was at fault you don’t take a person’s life over a disagreement.
Thoughts and prayers go out to Howard’s family.
