Barry Bonds’ Son Nikolai Arrested For Assaulting His Mother
Barry Bonds has had a tough week. He finally came to the conclusion that he was black balled out of Major League Baseball, so he finally retired, now this.
According to Menlo Park, California police spokeswoman Nicole Acker reported that the younger Bonds was booked into the San Mateo County Jail on Saturday after being arrested for allegedly spitting in his mother’s face and throwing a metal doorknob at her during an argument.
Nikolai Bonds who is 19 now is from Bonds’ first marriage to Sun Bonds (they divorced in 1994). This wasn’t a normal assault. He was booked on on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, assault and battery, vandalism, false imprisonment, obstruction and resisting an officer.
I was going to throw in a “Roid Rage” joke, but it seemed inappropriate. He was released last Saturday after posting a $50,000 bail.
A lot of people will remember Nikolai because he was the bat boy for the Giants for several of Bonds greatest years.
That is some serious disrespect for your mom, so hopefully Nikolai will get the help he needs.

When kids read stuff on the internet about their parents, the have no respect for them. These celebs must practice discretion (sp) when the act out of pocket, stuff stays on the internet for life.
I hope he gets help. Those charges sound like he might have had serious issues for a minute and it took something extreme for them to get seen about. I also hope the media respects the privacy and sensitivity of the situation and let the Bonds work everything out as privately as they can.
