Dwight Howard Sues Mother of His Son for 9.2 Million Dollars
Here is a piece advice for all women who are dating, have a baby by, doing it “Tigerstyle” and etc with an athlete:

Not twitter, not facebook, not lipstick alley, not MySpace or any place that comments are public.
Even if your claims or rants are true it comes across bad and it makes you seem petty, jealous, vengeful, mean and vindictive.
Take the case of Royce Reed the mother of Dwight Howard’s 2 year old son. It is very clear from her statements that she doesn’t think Howard is living up to his responsibilities as a parent, but the avenue she expressed those frustrations (i.e. the internet) has led Howard to file a 9.2 million lawsuit against her for violating an injunction forbidding her from talking about Howard in any way.
Reed’s lawyer says his client didn’t make the statements that appeared on Lipstick alley, but the facts are that comments similar to that have come out and that is the problem.
Howard’s image which some would consider “Tiger Like” (before the crash not after) has been the aggressor in attempting to show that Miss Reed is trying to ruin his image.
I am not going to get into he/she said, but if anything these last few weeks have shown us is that the truth is most likely somewhere in the middle.
I will say it is a bit silly for Howard to sue the mother of his child for almost 10 million dollars.
What exactly is he trying to prove? That he can stop anyone from saying something negatively about him?
From a legal standpoint it might be brilliant move, but from a personal standpoint it is a bit childish.
I would think for the betterment of the child he would want to have at least a cordial relationship with Miss Reed. So instead of lawsuits how about just talking to her because even though the child is only two it won’t take long before he is old enough to understand that his dad more interested in lawsuits than working things out and spending time with him.
That there is a bitch move by Howard.

Everybody forgets Dwight Howard came into the NBA with "Christian Values" image. He even talked about incorporating the cross into the NBA logo. All that was forgotten once he had that child out of wedlock. Special shout out to Royce Reed, a Florida A&M grad. Rattlers stand up!

I think what the lawyer said is true but the same advice should be given to his client.
It is so sad what kids of stars have to go through because of greedy or selfish parents.
I would like to know, before I decide to become a parent myself, what it is that leads parents to engage in petty behavior in which it's glaringly obvious that the child will be the loser. I've seen it happen so many times, my own childhood included, that it makes me wonder if "put the child first" is easier said than done.
Not for nothing…but is Dwight Howard going the Evander Holyfield route?
By that I mean professing all this religious stuff and then having children OUTSIDE of wedlock?

I respect people's individual beliefs..BUT keep that stuff to yourself….you only end up looking foolish after you do things that directly contradict what you claim to be living.

Dudes get blinded by FINE women and when they wake up…they see the woman for who she really is. I think the same is true for women and rich men.
serves her right. society always has the man as the one that is in the wrong. why can't it EVER be the woman that does wrong?…why when the man chooses to fight in the courts and not physically he is viewed as childish? how would you view howard if he was to threaten her in an online response, or going to her and choking her out? would that be a better move? why is it wrong for him to sue the mother of his son? why isn't their something wrong with the mother of his son typing things about the childs father online. do we forget that online posts are forever? when that child grows up he will already have had his name dragged through the mud.

Didn’t know you knew D. Howard personally. You don’t know that mans priorities. Don’t know why you would act like you know the man or his relationship with his kid and mother of his kid. Stick to the facts
