Mike Leach Files Restraining Order to Coach Texas Tech in Bowl Game
I have a few friends in Texas and who know a lot about the Texas Tech program, so the information I am giving you is based off those conversations.
To a man they say Craig James’ son Adam James is soft and a prima donna who ran to his dad basically for being treated like a regular player on the team.
It is not unusual for a kid of privilege to think he is “better” or “bigger” than the team. Craig James has a lot of influence especially in Texas, so this was made into a bigger deal that it really is.
The real story is that there are members of the University including the AD who simply hates Leach’s guts and wants him out of there, this is there convenient excuse.
Current and formers players have spoken out saying that in no way Leach has every put a player in harm’s way and I truly believe Adam James is embellishing the story.
Mike Leach is a unique coach and his outspokenness sometimes gets him in trouble, but it appears to me the school is just looking for a way to fire him and not pay him his $800,000 bonus for finishing the season.
I am glad Leach is taking the appropriate legal measures to make sure they don’t get away with it.

Even if all that stuff is true, it's wrong as hell to put a guy with a concussion in a freaking tool shed. I just can't get past that part.
Putting a kid in a dark closet is stupid and irresponsible. I am a parent. If my child is away at school playing sports, I want the head coach to make sure the safety of my child is held in the highest regard. I do not want my child to be embarrassed in the wrong way. It seems this is absolutely something that needs to be looked into.
There is a difference between a tool shed and the actual area that James was in. And Abdul if your child was playing sports and they acted liked they deserved something more and were not a good athlete at all and found every excuse in the book to get out of practice and you called and harassed the coach to get him – your 21 year old son …more playing time, you should be grateful that the coach didn't kick your kid off of the team and took away his scholarship.
