This is at least ten times more interesting that Tiger getting caught with his “Katies”.

In an upcoming interview with the Sporting News Ron Artest admits to drinking “Henny” as the kids call it during halftime while a member of the Chicago Bulls (Artest played for the Bulls from 1999-2002):

“I used to drink Hennessy … at halftime,” said Artest “I (kept it) in my locker. I’d just walk to the liquor store (near the stadium) and get it.”

How can you not love Ron Artest?

I am tired of boring athletes who lie repeatedly (like about having affairs with reality show contestants).

Give me a total and completely crazy Ron Artest (or is he really sane and media perception makes us think he is crazy. Think abou it) and I will be good.

Going on talk shows in boxer shorts, sneaking up on Kobe in the shower “Crying Game” style, punching the wrong guy in the stands, telling true stories about guys getting murder with chair legs and finally drinking “Henny” in the locker room.

I would pay money to sit down and talk to Ron Artest for an hour even off the record. His mind is totally unlocked.

An athlete that doesn’t care about his image is a beautiful thing.

The honesty is refreshing.

I might drink a little “Henny” and break a table leg (or is it a lamp) in honor of Ron Ron tonight.
