Breaking News: Manny Pacquiao Agrees To Fight Joshua Clottey Says Roach

In what appears to be the final nail in the coffin of a proposed Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather fight, Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach has said Pacquiao has agreed to fight Joshua Clottey on March 13th at a site yet to be determined.
Nothing personal against Clottey who is a very good fighter, but this is horrible blow to the sport of Boxing if true.
Clottey has zero buzz and while this may be interesting to hard core boxing fans, but the casual fans will go back to being curious more about the UFC than the sweet science.
I'd have to agree. Though I'd love it if Clottey beats Pacquiao because it would be hilarious and because he's from my home country too. I hope Pac and his fans realize that this move further makes him look like he's running away from drug testing.
