Carroll sure cut an appealing image at SC. There is no doubt the timing is suspect. I cannot believe what he said in his press conference is consistent with what he told his players and highly rated prospects over the last year.

I guess everyone is more interested in money than loyality. Thats ok, but don't say you are loyal and then do something like this. I don't believe a university or coach should be responsible for what a player does out of the eyes of the staffs. How can you keep an eye on every player or for that matter bad agents, impossible. Exile the agents and the players involved, that is all you can do, but to screw the coaches or the universities…now thats screwed.
