Considering this incident happened around 6 am and Sapp was talking to police at noon you knew it was serious. As more details come out it definitely isn’t looking good for Sapp who is still in police custody.

The Sun Sentinel has a timeline of what happened early this morning that lead to Sapp’s arrest:

Sapp is accused of attacking his girlfriend around 5 a.m. Saturday at the Shore Club Hotel on Collins Avenue. The woman, who was not identified by police, was treated by emergency workers for a swollen knee and bruises on the back of her neck and taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center.

She alleged that he began arguing with her about some men she had been hanging out with earlier and men listed in her phone. She told officers that during the argument, he choked her and pushed her down on a couch. She alleged he then picked her up by her shirt and neck and threw her down again. Sapp, she said, ordered her to leave the room.

Of course Sapp is innocent until proven guilty, but I will tell you right now that I am not surprised that something like this happened.

Being in Miami for a few days trust me when I tell you emotions are running high, liquored being pour freely, women and men are on the prowl and much more that wouldn’t be cool to type (this is a family site).

Once again I always give more credence or at least don’t take a side when the person who is doing the accusing calls the police first.

The police investigated and thought there was enough evidence to arrest Sapp a day before the Super Bowl, so obviously they aren’t taking it lightly and believe it is a legit complaint.
