Ben Roethlisberger’s DNA Being Requested By Investigators

Now things are getting on a CSI/Forensic Files level in the Ben Roethlisberger case.

The Milledgeville police are requesting a DNA sample from Roethlisberger.  This could go a long way to showing if a sexual assault took place.

If they are asking for DNA that means they are trying to match it with something (semen or blood) to try to connect or exonerate Roethlisberger.

Roethlisberger as of today has not submitted a sample but the police department doesn’t think it will be a problem.  Here is what they had to say:

Milledgeville police Chief Woodrow Blue said that thus far the Steelers’ Quarterback’s legal team has been cooperative, and he has no reason to believe they wouldn’t comply with the DNA request.

For some reason I find it funny that the chief of police is named Woodrow Blue, but I digress.

If Ben is truly innocent I would hope he submits a DNA sample, because it possibly could clear his name.

If he refuses a DNA sample that would be a shot to his credibility which is already shaky at best right now.
