Breaking News: Ben Roethlisberger Admits To Police Sexual Contact With Accuser
KDKA.com (click link for video) in Pittsburgh are claiming they know what Ben Roethlisberger said to police immediately after the alleged sexual assault. Here is his version of the story allegedly.
When Roethlisberger talked to police the night of the event he told them there was no sexual intercourse. He did have sexual contact with the woman but it was not consummated. He said he did not force himself on the woman, but she did fall and hit her head.
Also it is being reported that Roethlisberger’s lawyers have not agreed to a DNA sample even though the police have asked for it.
KDKA-TV says the the police are attempting to build strong case against Roethlisberger before bringing it to the D.A.
I am not proclaiming Ben’s guilt or innocence, but it wasn’t a very smart move on his part to talk to the police. When you are being accused of something very serious it is better to get a lawyer even if you are 100% innocent because your words can be used against you.
I call it “Kobe Bryant” disease where a superstar athlete thinks he can get himself out of a situation because he is a star. As Kobe learned that normally will cause more harm than good.
If you take the statement that Ben allegedly made at face value he basically implicates himself in the crime. The reason you don’t hear the police saying the word “rape” in this partcular case is because it doesn’t appear it got to that point. Something happened that didn’t allow sex to take place. That is the million dollar question what happened between the time the sexual contact started and she bumped her head. What exactly were they doing?
By Ben admitting that something sexual took place if anything that makes the accuser story more legitimate because now we know she isn’t lying outright.

business is about to pick up
Hey, last time I checked this is about a white guy so why are you covering it here?
What is your point David? We are a nationally accredited independent sports site.
wait this site is only for black people? Its only about black athletes? Isnt that slightly racial? I men what if we had a site just for whites. That wouldnt fly. I dont get it! Double Standard!!! David you are ignorant!
Racial!
he finger banged her
Honestly, when I have sex women always bump their heads. On the headboard, the car door, the side of the tub, the kitchen counter, the kid's walker, etc.
Why is this such a big deal? P.S. he's white, so you know he won't get prosecuted.
See also: OJ, Kobe, Michael Jackson (1/2), Stallworth (and he killed someone), Ray Lewis (and he had someone killed), I can go on….
Yes Pimp-a-hoy, because no white people ever get convicted and go to jail. And all black people get convicted and go to jail at least once in their life. You're a freaking genius.
No, I am trying to figure out what is the deal with this site.
"Black Sports Online?"
Is that 'OK' these days? What is that supposed to mean? Is this site designed to be about black athletes? Read by black sports fans?
Last time I checked, there was no "White Sports Online." Would it be OK if I were to start that one?
This is a nationally accredited independent sports site. ran by minorities. No different than BET.com which I am sure white people are allowed to go on as well.
There is no deal with this site. We report the information factual and straight down the middle with no racial basis. Just read the articles and anyone can see that. Do you think we would be mentioned in mainstream media if we were racial motivated site? Just read and it is clear as day and there is an "About Us" section for more information
Just curious, would it be OK to have a "White Sports Online?"
You have white sports online it is ESPN.com, it is SI.com, it is Foxsports.com where 95% of the opinions given on those sites are from white males.
Just a different perspective.
If someone wanted to start whitesportsonline.com and should no racial bias i wouldn't care at all.
We don't see race here. But we are proud to be black owned and operated
Contradictions abound.
"…a different [black, right?] perspective."
but you don't "see" race.
Even as you are so proud to be black owned and operated that you make the name of your business about race.
How exactly is a black perspective different, anyway? If it is different, doesn't it, by definition, have its own unique bias?
I am not going to go back and forth.
Every one has their own perspective. This site is from a black male perspective.
That has been the mantra since the doors opened. It is a mainstream site. Not a niche site, not just for black people, not just about black sports.
People read the site know that we are unbiased in our opinions. People can have their own opinions and that is fine we will continue to run our operations like we always have.
A few points and I am done:
1) ESPN has plenty of black columnists, analysts and writers. As an entity they are by no means institutionally a "white perspective." Furthermore, if they billed themselves as such, they would be hounded out of business very quickly, even if you did say it would be OK by you.
2) The fact that you are able to bill yourself as a national, mainstream site while at the same time saying that you look at things from a 'black perspective' and calling yourself Black Sports Online is a testament to the egregious double standard that exists in our society regarding what is considered appropriate for a white person to say or do and for a black or other minority to say or do.
3) You have a nice website, but I won't be visiting it anymore. I suggest you change the name to something that leaves out race altogether. I also suggest that you stop talking about your special 'black perspective.'
Well said. It is a double standard that should pointed out. BET. Black Entertainment Television. "We are proud to be black owned", a "black perspective." Are they serious? I am african american as well as caucasian. I am offended. If ESPN said that, they would be vilafied by the "mainstream media." But when an african american says it then the since of entitlement aspect kicks in. This is ridiculous and embarrassing. How does a black perspective differ from a white one. What, do black people report a game or stat different from a white one? How can you, as a black man Mr. Littal, report Kobe getting 32 points against LeBron from a really different perspective? What is the "black perspective?" There isn't one. It is the "black sense of entitlement" statute. You should be ashamed. You are skillful enough and talented enough to have a mainstream news organization, yet incompetent enough to make it a racial issue. Thats is exactly what the mainstream media does and that, by definition, makes you a typical liberal.
If ESPN, SI, Foxsports even hinted that they were going to come out and publicly say that they were white anything…I'd like to see the backlash. I hate to continue the race topic, but there is no way anyone can honestly say that any business that calls themselves white anything (outside of white castle) will be able to operate without extreme backlash from the media and public. If you publicly say and use the word 'white' with owned, operated, affiliated, etc….you have just put the life of your business at serious risk. If you do the same thing with 'black' …. no problem anywhere, and when someone complains about it…."they don't get it" or "must be racist" or "don't understand the meaning". I don't care how you report or operate….as soon as you attach white (as in race) to your business….have fun.
proud to be white here, not EVER owner but i do operate. that way i know i probably wont be a victim of murder rape or some other serious crime, I cant see how ESPN or SI.com could be considered a white site as they report more often on the "black sports of basketball and baseball. it really doesn't matter that 95% of the opinions on those sites are allegedly made by white males because that idiot Robert Littlal cannot know the race or gender of someone who is typing on thier computer, this just shows his ignorance and predjudice. hey, Robbie, did you vote for Obama like 99% of all black voters who voted, which is by far and away the single largest statistical proof of a RACE based decision in american history. ""Even above the 78 % of white americans who thought OJ did it ..
Wesley Wagner, Erie Pa.
P.S. you don't like it come do something about it. Like i would.
[...] some websites are “claiming” Ben Roethlisberger talked to police about having sexual contact [...]
I sort of understand both sides of this thread. Robert is stating that "blacks" are a culture, race, people, somewhat like Europeans, Asians, Middle-Easterns. Therefore WE do ( I am black and just stumbled upon this site because of the Big Ben article) have SOMEWHAT of a different perspective on how things in general are viewed. Remember, whites told blacks for hundreds of years that we were different and couldn't be a part of their way of thinking. My apologies for the history lesson.
The site seems cool and interesting. If you like the articles or the writers continue to enjoy the site without trying to look for reasons not to support it. This doesent seem to be a site that bashes any culture, race, gender or sexual orientation…it simply comes from a "sometimes different perspective"
Unfortunately, Robert was probably in a hurry when responding to this thread and didn't present his feedback in a way that others may not have found offensive.
I don't like to continue the race topic please stop, but there is no way anyone can honestly say that any business that calls themselves white will be able to operate without extreme backlash from the media and public.
I haven't seen one single comment about Ben Roethlisberger LoL. Why'd y'all pick his article to have the race war under?? lmao…
And you know what bothers me even MORE than the name of this website? Why are Jay-Z and Kim Kardashian on the banner of the home page of a sports website??
Excellent luck getting individuals behind this one. Though you make some Really fascinating points, youre going to need to do a lot more than bring up a couple of points that may be different than what weve already heard. What are attempting to say here? What do you need us to feel? It appears like you cant truly get behind a exclusive thought. Anyway, thats just my opinion.
Just want to say your article is as astounding. The clarity in your post is simply cool and i can assume you’re an expert on this subject. Well with your permission let me to grab your feed to keep updated with forthcoming post. Thanks a million and please continue the gratifying work.
