We might not know where Tim Tebow will be drafted, but what we do know he is the #1 prospect in the upcoming autographing signing draft.
Tim Tebow spent four hours at the Palm Spring Gardens signing autographs (for $160) and taking pictures (for $75) and for some it was truly a religious experience:
“You’re just, like, in awe,” said Berger, 25, her face still glowing from the meet-and-greet. “He’s so inspirational, and we’re all such huge fans. Just to have this opportunity, I’m out of control.”
Autographs cost fans $160, and photos $75, but it was a small price to pay for Gator fans to get up close with the former Heisman and national championship-winning quarterback.
“The national championship ticket was a lot. This was nothing,” said Brandon Guilford, who got Tebow to autograph a photo from the 2009 BCS Championship Game.
Tebow wrote a check for $50,000 to his foundation during the appearance, of course he made over $150,000 during the event, but I have been assured that a “large” portion of that has went to his foundation and only a “small” portion went into Tebow’s pocket.
Remember kids $160 is a small price to pay to get up close and personal with Tebow ($75 if you want a picture to get really up close and personal).
There is no truth to the rumor someone asked him to sign there autograph as “STFU”
God Bless.
