Milledgeville Police Department To Speak On Roethlisberger Case This Afternoon
My policy on police investigations is that I won’t post my own theory of what happened until either the person is charged or the claim is dismissed.
According to the AJC.com police are going to provide more details on what happened between the accuser and Ben Roethlisberger.
I have no inside knowledge of what they are going to say.
The one thing I do have inside knowledge is that the accuser motives for going to the police as of right now seem legit.
I have spoken via email to several people who were at the Capital City bar who know the accuser. They all say she isn’t the type to make a false complaint and she was borderline hysterical after the incident. I have piece together from the accuser side what happened.
To be fair these are her friends and none of them saw firsthand what exactly what happened when Ben followed her into the bathroom area. Roethlisberger hasn’t been charged with anything and we have reached out to some people none were willing to give his side of the story, only to say the claims are false.
After the police speak again on the matter I will update you with my thoughts.
