Manny Pacquiao/Floyd Mayweather talks resume?
Right after Floyd Mayweather, Jr. defeated Shane Mosley, Money May was of course asked about a potential mega-fight with Manny Pacquiao. He responded, “If Manny Pacquiao can take a blood and urine test, then we have a fight. If not, no fight.”
However the Pac-Man, now says that he will agree to the testing… of some sort. There just has to be a cut off at 24 days before the fight because he will be “weakened” by having his blood drawn up to 14 days before the fight like Floyd’s camp wants.
This is the fight that everyone wants to see, the one that will make these men a lot of money. Enough money for Manny to get himself into the Phillipines Congress; he is supposedly campaigning for that. It is would also be enough cash for Floyd to throw in the air or take pictures with.
On behalf of all sports fans, I hope the latest beatdowns they both handed out start the talks again because there is a room at the MGM Grand with my name on it if they can just get this thing done.

Pac is full of bull hockey. If drawing blood 24 days before a fight makes him weak doesn't it make Mayweather weak to? Why is 24 days a solid time slot? I'm with mayweather, pac needs to prove he clean and get this done.

Mayweather would have gone down in 2nd round if it was PACMAN in that ring instead of MOSLEY's only 1 punch. PACMAN we all know will throw a storm of punches and would love to exchange punches with floyd's soft punch. Mosley is old and took steroids before. We all know that when you take steroids it does some damage to human reflex and muscles. If you put cotto there or PACMAN. Mayweather will go to sleep.

I think that Pac is hidding something, saying that drawing blood 24 days before the fight will make him weaker is the dummest excuse i have ever herd. Officials picked the 24th day becuause they know that the human body takes about 20 days to re-generate the blood in the human system, regardless the amount drawn will not be enough to affect either boxers. Many sounds like alot of those baseball players that claimed have never used performance enhancement drugs but are being proved wrong every season.

where did you get that info that it takes 24 days for the blood to regenerate. You better do some more research before you post something. It takes 60 days for the red blood cells to be replaced.

We all know what Mayweathers have been saying: Sr. said Pacman is an amateur (before the Hatton fight); Jr. said that Pacman is one-dimensional. In addition Jr. also said that he is bigger, stronger, and faster than Pacman and he wants to whoop his punk a$$. Everybody knows PBF has the best defense in boxing and he is an excellent counter puncher. We thought he would have a hard time with Mosley but he basically dismantled him. I also agree with his blood testing to keep the sport of boxing clean. So this is my concern, he said that he wants an even playing field but with all these things mentioned above, it seems that Pacman has the odds stacked against him. So how can this be an even playing field?
Following are facts regarding Pacman: He never tested positive for anything in his entire career. He agreed to PBF blood drug test 24 days before the fight and right after the fight (after the fight seems reasonable and would still catch anything in the blood).
So WTF PBF??? We all know that PBF is still the challenger here. If PBF fought Mosley with the belt on the line then we can see how he can demand such test. Right now, he is only a challenger and Pacman has the WBO welterweight belt making him the champion in WBO. Pacman agreed to the test to a certain point so why does PBF still need to push the issue and impose his will on Pacman. Even without the blood, testing PBF still has a very big advantage over Pacman and a lot die hard PBF fans would agree to this. So again WTF?
Make the fight happen guys. No more excuses, no more demands just put on your gloves and fight.

However, he is putting it in a way that he is casting doubts over the past achievements of the greats in the sport. What he can do, if he sincerely believes about fairness, is to lobby for changes in the commission to adopt his plan. The current system is meant to protect all fitghters, but if he can't truss the system he should quit fighting under it. There is nothing to date that Floyd can present tying Manny into doping. All is just trash talk. To many, Manny is clean and whether he is trully clean or not he cannot be faulted for sticking to fight within the Commission's rules.
