President Obama Wants LeBron James in Chicago?

by Robert Littal | Posted on Friday, May 14th, 2010

We have officially Jumped the Shark of the LeBron Free Agency Saga and it took less than 24 hours.  Just read this quote via ESPN.com:

“He doesn’t want to tamper,” said senior advisor to the president — and former Bulls season ticket holder — David Axelrod. “But as a Chicago fan, the president thinks LeBron would look great in a Bulls uniform.”

Here is my suggestion; VH1 should do a reality show (because that is all they do) called:

THE SUMMER OF LEBRON

They should hire me to host and send me around to the various NBA cities that think they have a shot at LeBron and let me interview people, see what they think.

I can interview famous people and normal people in the streets.

I can hang out with Jay-Z one week and the following week hang out where Bone Thugs N Harmony grew up in Cleveland (bulletproof vest should be provided).

I can go over LeBron’s crib and we can play NBA2K11 with him being on different teams, so he can get a feel for what it would be like.

I am about to call VH1 to see if we can get the ball rolling.  I would also like to make a guest appearance on Basketball Wives – preferably when Royce is dancing.

  1. J.R. LeMar says:

I'm thinking that they should do something like The Bachelor/Flavor of Love/Rock of Love/For The Love of Ray J. Get all the team-owners together in a large house, and they all get to go on dates with LeBron, to try to convince him to join their team. @ the end of each episode there's an elimination ceremony, until it's down to the final two team-owners, and then LeBron makes his final choice.
