I am trying to not laugh.
It appears Mo Williams was upset about a quote D Wade made addressing Dan Gilbert’s asseration that Lebron James quit during the Boston series.
Here is what Wade had to say:
“I don’t see where you can get where he quit,” Wade said. “He just had one bad game. It happens. Kobe had a bad game in the Finals. They won. It didn’t matter. LeBron’s teammates didn’t help him out that game and it made the way he played even worse. But he’s not a quitter. He didn’t quit.”
In laymen terms Wade was saying the reason the Cavs loss was because Lebron didn’t have enough help and when you are an elite player like Kobe or Lebron you need your teammates to lift you up when one team is holding you down.
It is a solid point, that is what Boston does better than any other team in the league. They slow down star players and make the others beat them.
In Heat and Cavs cases it worked, in the Lakers case they had just enough from the other guys to win a tough seven game series.
I didn’t see anything but truth in Wade’s comments.
But “Moist” Mo didn’t see it that way. While professing his love for Big Z, he called out Wade. This would be the like me calling out Manny Pacaquiao for a fight, but I digress.
At least Mo Gotti is showing a little backbone as oppose to crying on his keyboard all day, but I am sure Wade and the South Beach NWO will have their spray paint ready when they go to Cleveland.
