We are Americans!!!!
Unless you are at a place that has a strictly enforced dress code (your place of employment, a restaurant or David Stern’s house), you should be able to where whatever the hell you want.
Unless the Eagles banned all NFL jerseys from their practice field, Andy Reid just showed how “moist” of a coach he is and I am not talking about all of those Dunkin Hines cakes he has been eating over the years.
Jim Devlin is an Eagles fan and a Donovan McNabb fan. He didn’t like that the Eagles traded McNabb as an American if he wants to support McNabb by wearing his jersey more power to him. He wasn’t causing any problems at Eagles practice when this happened:
A fan wearing a Donovan McNabb No. 5 Redskins jersey was asked to remove it. The reason? The fan said the security guard told him Andy Reid took notice when asking him to remove the jersey.
The fan, Jim Devlin, did not put up a fight when asked to take the jersey off, nor was he escorted from the practice field.
Maybe Reid should more concerned about his “clock management” skills than a fan in a McNabb jersey. Are you that insecure, arrogant and pompous to feel the need to control what a fan wears at practice?
Are you going to force the fan with the Romo jersey or the Michael Vick Dog Pound jersey to take their jerseys off too?
Maybe he just likes to see men strip to their T-Shirts.
Granted Reid has been very successful in his time in Philly, but the facts are coaches like players are judge on championships which he has none and his awful coaching performance in the Super Bowl has not been forgotten by me.
You are the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, coach the team and leave the fans alone.
Stop acting like you want to be in the South Beach NWO.
