Delonte West Suspended by NBA

The NBA suspended free agent Delonte West 10 games after he entered a guilty plea last month on weapons charges.  He was pulled over in Maryland in September 2009 while driving a three-wheeled motorcycle.  Maryland authorities found two loaded handguns, a loaded shotgun, and an 8 1/2 inch Bowie knife(he has to be friends with Tank Johnson), and West was arrested.

The 10 game suspension is without pay, and could effect him getting signed with a team this season.  West played for Cleveland Cavaliers and was traded this off season amid rumors(ya’ll know what I’m talking about).  West was waived by the Timberwolves August 3rd after acquiring him in a trade. West has battled bipolar disorder during his entire career.

I wish Delonte the best and hope he is able to sign with a team.  If and when he does, *Antione Dobson voice* Hide yo Momma! Hide yo Aunties!
