As I have told you many times the Football Gods do not like the way Brett Favre has handle his 15 times retirements.

Remember his last play with the Jets was an INT in a game they loss that could have put them in the playoffs.

Remember his last play with the Vikings last year was an INT when they were driving for an opportunity to go the Super Bowl.

Do you really think the Football Gods are going to let him slide this year?

The Vikings best Wide Receiver is now likely to miss half the season here are the details:

Brett Favre might be without his top target for the first half of the 2010 season.

Sidney Rice, who has missed all of training camp with a hip injury suffered in the NFC Championship Game, was at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo., on Monday and will likely have surgery, the (Minneapolis) Star Tribune reported.

In my opinion this will just be the first of many things that will derail the Vikings Super Bowl hopes, but look on the bright side you are paying Favre 20 million.
