Joe Theismann Joins the NFL Network Broadcast Team

Another reason to watch the NFL Network games on “mute”.

There are a lot of annoying broadcasters, but Theismann quite possibly is the worst.  Here are the details:

Citing “league TV sources,” the New York Daily News reports Theismann will join NFL Network as an game analyst, working alongside Bob Papa and Matt Millen in a three-man booth.

Theismann previously served as an analyst for Monday Night Football(and previously Sunday Night Football) on ESPN. Earlier this year, he called an NFL Wild Card game for NBC.

Couldn’t CBS had loaned out Gus Johnson? Can Gus Johnson just call every game? We just need to clone him.
