With the upcoming season about to start, Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh is really getting settled in. He purchased a 7-bedroom, 8-bathroom mansion in Miami Beach. Welcome to the land of no state or city tax Mr. Bosh. The 12,000 square foot home sold for $12.5 million, said listing agent Lourdes Alatriste of real estate firm Engel & Voelkers.
The property is just south of La Gorce Island on North Bay Road. North Bay Road is home to plenty of celebrities, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, a member of the Bee Gees, and Matt Damon lives a few doors down. It is also rumored that Dwyane Wade is looking at house on the same street.
“When he saw the house, he was overwhelmed,” said real estate agent, Lourdes Alatriste. “It’s perfect for him. He’s seen a lot of houses, but he wanted a brand new house.” The home is also reportedly the site where Bosh proposed to his fiancée, Adrienne Williams, on Aug. 27, soon after going into contract.
Investing in a home this size probably means good news for Heat fans, Bosh isn’t going anywhere for quite some time….maybe…if they get along…and win championships….hopefully.
