According to allthings-fresh.net, Drake is an unlockable player in the new NBA 2k11. Here is their post:

Have you ever played with Drake? No. Do you want to play with Drake? Yes. Well, you’ll have to buy NBA 2K11 when it drops on October 5th 2010 because Drake is a hidden character in the video game. Also, you’ll have to figure out how to unlock him (I heard that it’s not easy)! Check out the screen cap above. Number 24 huh? I see you Kobrey. Pre-order your copy here. *drinks Sprite*

Kobrey?  Kobe + Aubrey(Drake’s real name), um ok….And of all numbers he could pick, 24?  Whatever, what more do I need to say….another pic here of him d’ing Lebron. Of course, him and Lebron have some history.

Assuming this is true…. 2k sports, of all the hidden players you could have included in the game you have Drake? Really? I guess I understand. NBA’s Slamdunk contest is sponsored by Sprite, Drake is Sprite’s pitchman, so maybe they will tie it in somehow in the game. Assuming Drake is in the game, probably his music will also be featured as well. So it fits for him to be in the game. The problem remains, what will his injury rating be? He might be a Jameer Nelson crossover from this….

Who knows what other celebrity or star is included in the game. Imagine if Justin Bieber is in the game. Imagine him one-on-one with Shaq in the paint…

nevermind….

Talking about in the paint, how about Waka in the game? If he edited lyrics to “Hard in the Paint”, the track would be dope for the game. He also looks like he could ball, at least tall enough. Shout out to J.R.Smith making a cameo at 2:13 and 3:57 marks.

O wait, Waka already plays in the NBA. His real name is Jordan Hill, ex-Knick and current Rocket.

Ok, i’m joking, but tell me they can’t pass for at least brothers.

All jokes aside, having Drake or anyone else in the game is secondary to being able to play with MJ and legendary teams which NBA2k11 offers. It is the main reason why NBA 2k11 is expected to break sales records and NBA Elite formerly NBA live is expected to fail miserably. NBA Elite has even delayed their release because people have found a “Jesus glitch” and “hook shot glitch.” Yea, no good. If I was Kevin Durant i’d ask my name/image be removed from association with such a horrible game, but thats just me.

NBA 2k >>>>>>>>>>>>> NBA Live/Elite. Everyone agree?
