Rex Ryan Wants Braylon Edwards Benching To Last One Play

If this report from Profootballtalk.com is true, what is the point of benching Braylon at all?

To be fair, most players who get a DUI aren’t suspended or benched, so the Jets need to stop trying to play both sides of the fence.

It is obvious winning is more important than sending a message and that is fine, just don’t lie about. Here are the details:

Jay Glazer of FOX reports that coach Rex Ryan wants the benching to last for only one play.

The problem is that the front office is pushing for something more like a quarter.

At this point it doesn’t really matter, just play him and stop insulting our intelligence.

  1. Yup yup, i would have more respect for people who just came out with the truth, you can say “it’s the cops job to punish him, it’s our to win football games, so?”

Then again they probably won’t do that because you will bring a media circus all over again.
