So I follow a million people on twitter but only have slightly over 100 followers. This needs to change, follow me!! Anyways, the benefit of following a million people on twitter is that you get millions of things. Sports news, World News, Music, interesting media links, comedic tweets, pics, etc. So more often than not, you find something interesting. Today I found something REALLY interesting. I saw an interesting tweet from @SummerStage: “@OGOchoCinco I think you’ll like this a lot: Satanic Bengals comics from 1979 DC House of Mystery #265 :http://tinyurl.com/2cc3reo”
First thing that came to mind was why Summerstage would be tweeting Ocho? They are about concert and events around city. In any case, I clicked and what ensued can be explained as nothing less than bewilderment. Not knowing what I should make of it I Dm’d friends at @deadspin (follow) and was replied with this quote, “That’s utterly insane.” Yea, that’s pretty much what I felt. Without further adieu, proof of Bengals Satanic inclination.
Yea, you’re scratching your head right now. So much to consume is so little time. We have transformations, devil pacts, religious references, and the SAINTS winning! Crazy stuff.
Just in case you want to know how Steelers finished their season in 1979, they were Super Bowl Champions. It was last Superbowl for famed Steel Curtain of the 70s. Guess the Devil ain’t that strong after all. These teams play again on Nov 8th, with Big Ben back, game should be fun. Bengals are good enough today that don’t need a devil pact to win, Steelers don’t need to bring Holy Water to use on Ocho. Then again, if Ocho ever was linked with devil, Troy P would pretty much knock the demons out of him if he dare cross the middle of the field, but I digress. As for teams that might need devil pacts or divine intervention for wins I’d have to believe STL Rams, Buffalo Bills, and Browns. Hell, that might not even help.
Alright, that’s it folks. Got nothing else. Hope you had a good laugh, learned something, and didn’t feel like I wasted 5-7 minutes of your life.
