Ray Lewis is first ballot Hall of Famer, one of the best Linebackers that has ever put on the pads.

But he whines a lot when things don’t go his way.

He cries like a Kardashian when she loses her Blackberry.

Most people give him a pass because he is Ray Lewis, I am not one of those people.

Lewis made some valid points about how the Refs protect quarterbacks too much. He made a solid point on a blown call by the refs late in the game against the Bengals.

My problem is when he says the Bengals didn’t “earn” the victory. That is a disrespectful statement and very “moist” on Lewis’ part.

The Bengals played a hell of a game.

The refs didn’t cause Joe Flacco to throw four interceptions. The Bengals punched the Ravens in the mouth and they folded, point blank period.

Ray Lewis needs to stop making excuses and stop forever bitching when the Ravens lose.

He sounded like a 16 year old teenager who just found out Justin Beiber had a girlfriend.

Do you need some tissue for those Tebow Tears Ray?

Man up, stop crying and give credit when credit is due, can you preach about that Reverend Ray.

  1. joe packer says:

refs are the lowest of life form on this planet

  2. Phattmatt says:

Ray cries too much. Ravens lost "I got double teamed, Let's meet again next Sunday, That was a fluke they can't do it again." Wha wha it's football as you say.

  3. mobb says:

ray lewis has always had haters like you,on one hand you said he had some valid points about the refs, but when he points out the obvious ridiculous 6points the bengels got you call him whinning.yo shut up,ray lewis speaks the truth thats not whinning, these refs needs to be slapped around.

  4. "Is there a difference in playing dirty?"

    Greatest line of q&a ever.

  5. CM59 says:

Ray needs to get over it… otherwise RETIRE!

  6. Dwight says:

I tend to agree with Ray's side on this. Not only were the two penalties completely wrong, but they helped create points for the Bengals. Honestly, two of the worst calls I've seen in a long time. You rarely see Harbaugh get angry at a call but he was going crazy after the second one, which led to a game winning Bengals field goal. It's pretty safe to say that the Ravens would have won if not for the refs.

However, I do agree that "the Bengals didn't earn the victory" was a rude statement. It's not like the Bengals forced the refs to make those bad calls. Ray should've just stuck with his angst against the refs.

    • Robert Littal says:

Bad calls happen all the time. The 2nd call much worse than the 1st. But this is the 4th or 5th time that Ray has blamed the refs. I agree with him that refs bad calls but the Bengals won the game.

  7. Preacher says:

Ray Lewis has been and always will be one of the biggest cry babies in the NFL. If they gave an award for whining he would be at the top of the list every year. The more he plays the worse offender he will become in trying to destroy the integrity of the officials. The Zebra stripes in the NFL are the best of the best when it comes to professional officiating.

    • Roach says:

wow must be a highschool ref that could'nt make it in college ,,, dude wipe your nose you gotta lil something on it! as for ray,,, he has a valid point on just about everything he said ,, did the bungles earn the victory? no in my opinion they did'nt ,, their offence didnt earn anything except 9 points their defense played a hell of a game kudos to those guys !! the ravens offense is the reason they lost but believe me the refs did take a major dump in harbough's shoe on both of those calls and in a sense the ravens should have been up by 2 td's at that point but they wer'nt and if those calls would'nt have been made the ravens more than likely would have won 10-9 because with 6 minute left in the game joe would have not thrown those 2 pics because it would have been a steady dose of ray rice ,, instead joe had a bad day and threw the final 2 pics of the day!! the ravens do get cornholed more than most teams i have direct ticket i can see it for myself

  8. TCJ says:

The Ravens did not play well enough on offense to earn a victory but the referees bad calls on the two plays in question did affect the outcome of the game. The tripping call negated a sack on third down that took the Bengals out of field goal range. The roughing call created great field position that the Bengals still couldn't capitalize on.

  9. beagamer says:

    Arrested for murder
Following a Super Bowl XXXIV party in Atlanta on January 31, 2000, a fight broke out between Lewis and another group of people, resulting in the stabbing deaths of Jacinth Baker and Richard Lollar. Lewis and two companions, Reginald Oakley and Joseph Sweeting were brought to an Atlanta police station for questioning. Eleven days later, the three were indicted on murder and aggravated assault charges.
Lewis' attorney arranged for the murder charges against Lewis to be dropped in exchange for his testimony against Oakley and Sweeting, and a guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of obstruction of justice.[21] Lewis was sentenced to one year of probation and was fined US$250,000 by the NFL, which was believed to be the highest fine levied against an NFL player for an infraction not involving substance abuse.[22]
Oakley and Sweeting were acquitted of the charges in June 2000.[23] No other suspects have ever been arrested for the crime.
The following year, Lewis was named Super Bowl XXXV MVP. However, the signature phrase "I'm going to Disney World!" was given instead by quarterback Trent Dilfer.
On April 29, 2004, Lewis reached a settlement with four-year-old India Lollar, born months after the death of her father Richard, preempting a scheduled civil proceeding. Lewis also reached an undisclosed settlement with Baker's family

    • Roach says:

and your point is? congrads you can cut and paste! so tired of the idiots that dwell on this,, if ray was guilty of murder do you honestly believe that the da would have just let him walk??? that da had a viagra enhanced hard on for ray since day 1 ,,, that would have made that da's career ,, no way he lets him walk if he had something on him,,alll he had was rays name ,, and think about it he is ray lewis do you honestly believe he would get his hands dirty ,,, if he wanted some1 taken care of im sure it could be done withouta paper trail to him

  10. nrage42 says:

The guy has sacrificed his body for 15 years as one of the leagues best LB's and backs up his talk on the field every Sunday (yesterday alone, 10 tackles incl. a sack ). He has every right to voice his opinions or grievances because he's on the field, your not. If I had a team, I would give anything for at least one player with the heart of Ray Lewis. He just lost the game, you want him to be fired up or disappointed but I guess you wouldn't understand that numbnuts. This is football, yo!

  11. Ken says:

The Ravens and their fans always whine when they lose, so what else is new?

  12. DodgersKings323 says:

Just put flags on them and turn it into the flag football league, nobody wants to see a player get hurt because they make $$$$ for the league and it has been sissified, just like the NBA.

  13. jtbmore says:

I don't know how you can say "the Bengals punched the Ravens in the mouth". Crazy.
I do agree that Ray is kidding himself if he truely feels they lost the game because of those two penalties, even if they were wrong. He really should blame Cam Cameron for not running the ball more and Joe Flacco for making poor decisons and poor throws. The defense was great though, dominating really. Carson Palmer was not sharp, and despite great field position because of Flacco misques, the Bengals did not score a touchdown.
I understand your point. I think Terrell Suggs, who had the worse of the two penalties called agaisnt him, had it right when he said, "Absolutely not" when asked if the penalties decided the game. Credit for the victory goes to the Bengals secondary and pass rush, whom made Joe Flacco look like a rookie (or an infant).
But the Bengals offense quite simply "didn't suck as much" as the Ravens offense. Hardly a punch in the mouth.

  14. jtbmore says:

It's obvious that while you respect Ray's talent, you don't like him. Maybe you even hate him. Maybe that growing resentment plays tricks with your mind, and you see things that didn't really happen. Like, for example, a Bengal punching a Raven in the mouth. If you want you see a real punch in the mouth, go on youtube and watch Ocho get beheaded last year (which, even if it resulted in a penalty that countined a TD drive, was totally worth it)
It's cool if you hate him. It's cool if you hate Baltimore, or if any other poster has hate for Baltimore. Baltimore is a city of hate, we thrive on it.

  15. Rod says:

Rob where are you from again? Biased?

  16. Phattmatt says:

I listened to it again this morning and it's disgusting that Ray Ray constantly calls himself a "man". When things aren't EXACTLY his way he whines like the baby he is. Notice when he starts complaining that his voice starts jumping octaves until he's about to literally cry. He's just flat out delusional. He says he's a "Man of God" but his actions don't show that at all. He celebrates when he hurts someone (real Godly) and had to rat out his friends on the murder from the fight. Wonder who started that fight? Not Ray Ray and his mouth. He's talented but he will be remembered more fore whining than winning.

  17. Yung Bmore says:

Okay first and foremost let me say The Ravens offense did not deserve the win and The Bengals offense did not earn it… that being said, somebody has to be a winner no matter how much the offenses struggled. It is unfortunate that the refs blew those calls because the Ravens Defense was doing their job and would have stopped both of those drives had the calls not been made. Secondly, Ray Lewis is one of the greatest if not THE GREATEST LB to play the game. Yea, something happened in Atlanta but what?… we will never know the FULL and ENTIRE story. It's over. Let it rest. Just because Ray says he is a man of god does not mean that he does not have the right to express his full range of emotions… to say one is not allowed is outlandish… WE ARE HUMAN… I have never seen a man with such passion to play the game of football… the only person to come close is Michael Jordan and that's a totally different sport. His voice cracked because of the emotions still running high from the lousy calls. He didn't go looking for the press the press asked him his honest opinion and he gave it. Hate is ignorance and many of you are full of it.

  18. Phattmatt says:

    Yung Bmore,
Tell the families of Baker and Lollar to let it rest. A Godly man isn't involved in two murders and play Judas to his accomplices.
The press sought him out because when they lose he whines. Makes good press. Most men I know voices don't crack once they get past puberty. He's one octave from shedding tears. He NEVER gives his opponents ANY credit like a true champion would. It's always "poor Ravens, the refs screwed us." Ravens must NEVER EVER have a single call go their way or they would undefeated every year according to Ray. Let's not even play the games and give them the Lombardi every year since they never lose unless the refs cost them the game. The whole team should be voted into the Hall of Fame as soon as they are eligible.

    • Roach says:

to be honest i dont care about the families and neither should you , if you are from bmore you should care about the 300 plus homocides within the city limits ,, quit beating a dead horse it gets old it seams every insecure lamer always holds onto the murder bs whats wrong did mommy not give you enough attention ,, ??? not enough hugs from mom and too many from dad???,,with a name like phattmatt i doubt you play the part ,, prob a skinny little white dude with his hat on sideways which as we all know the hat on sideways = barny badass ,, get off your moms computer and go to bed son!, who is your team? please dont tell me you are a shitsburg fan!

      • Phattmatt says:

Another whining Raven fan who can't face the truth. I thought we were talking about Ray Lewis but since you had nothing constructive to say you had to get personal. Grow up. Facts are facts-you lost. If you really care about the killings in Baltimore do something about it. You are so FAR off base on your assessment of me it's not even funny.

  19. john says:

punched the Ravens in the mouth…..

    that's laughable
good close game that could have went either way

    get off the pipe
