The Heat and Wade are saying all the right things in regards to his hamstring injury.
The truth is hamstrings are similar to ankles, once you hurt it, it is always in the back of your mind it could be reoccurring type of thing.
The thing that concerns me is that the hamstring had been bothering Wade and he went out and played anyway.
With such high expectations for the Heat, that probably wasn’t a good idea. NBCSports has more details:
Dwyane Wade (strained hamstring) said he could be out “a couple of weeks,” which would sidelined him for the next four preseason games.
“I’ll be as patient as I need to be,” said Wade. “In another week we’ll see where it’s at.” Hamstring injuries are easily aggravated, but coach Erik Spoelstra called it a “slight tweak” and he should be ready for the season opener on October 26th, exactly three weeks from today.
The South Beach NWO have to stay healthy because they are very thin to begin with after their top three players.
Wade shouldn’t come back until he is 100% even if that means missing a few regular season games.
The regular season means nothing, this team will be judge by one thing and one thing only.
