You know me I am pro-nudity.

ESPN The Magazine “Body Issue” is one of the most innovative things that a sports magazine has done in a very long time.  I would definitely suggest picking up a copy on October 3rd.  It isn’t just about athletes getting naked, it is about showing you what makes an athlete.

It is really fascinating stuff.

I can’t want until the revealed the other three cover athletes.  Here are some details:

ESPN The Magazine has revealed three of the six cover athletes planned for its second annual Body Issue, on newsstands this Fri., Oct. 8. The first three cover subjects are Phoenix Mercury star guard Diana Taurasi, the USA Women’s Water Polo Team and wheelchair tennis star, 16-time Grand Slam champion Ester Vergeer.

ESPN The Magazine’s Body Issue is a celebration and exploration of the athletic form, honoring athletes of diverse shapes, sizes, colors, genders and race. The issue’s launch in 2009 and was met with great anticipation – its cover athletes were tennis star Serena Williams, running back Adrian Peterson, basketball star Dwight Howard, NASCAR racer Carl Edwards, MMA fighter Gina Carano and amputee track star Sarah Reinerstein.
