Bravo has decided to continue to beat a dead horse and expand it’s “Real Housewives” series to Miami. The show managed to snag Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen’s wife, Larsa Pippen. It wasn’t without coaxing thought. Reportedly, the fiercely private Pippen was not on board with having his life aired on national TV. Eventually, he gave in and Larsa got the go ahead to be apart of the show.
“Real Housewives of Miami” will also include former NBA-er Glen Rice’s ex-wife Christy. The rest of a socialite, a lawyer’s wife, a charity planner, a magazine editor, a PR expert and a true ”first” for the ”Housewives” franchise — South Beach drag queen Elaine Lancaster. Yes, you read that right.
Personally, I’m tired of all the “Wives” on TV….Real Housewives, Basketball Wives, Football Wives. When will it stop, being famous for no reason at all is just ridiculous. Using air time to show women being self-indulging, self-centered and shallow is such a waste of time. We already have the perfect example in “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”.
But that’s just me, so for those of you that are interested in watching, the show will air in November. Check local listing for time and dates…..*blank stare*
