It is not my place to tell any athlete to retire, but you have to wonder if it will ever work out for Greg Oden.
He has had knee problems since he was in High School and at some point you just have to “chuck up the deuces” and move on.
He is an extremely nice young man and as an Ohio State alum it pains me to see his career just have all these set backs, here are the details:
Greg Oden will undergo microfracture surgery on his left knee and miss the entire 2010-11 season.
The bad luck continues for Oden and the Blazers, so go ahead and drop him if you were holding him in hopes of a comeback.
It’s tough not to feel bad for Oden and the Blazers, as Kevin Durant continues his dominant ways in OKC.
If Oden decides to continue on, we wish him the best, but I personally just don’t think we will ever see him back on the NBA court ever again.
The Blazers franchise seems to be cursed as well with major injury, after major injury. Did they offend a goat or sell Babe Ruth?
