The Jets had a very dumb roughing the kicker penalty which left Jason Hanson limping and unable to kick the extra point.

Out trots Monster Defensive Tackle Ndamukong Suh to attempt the kick.

Yes the same Suh who almost ripped Jake Delhomme head off in preseason and slapped Santana Moss away from him like a fly last week.

He is a classic one step kicker and he had the power just not the accuracy.

“A” for effort, but if you are the Lions you might want to invest in a tad bit better back up kicker than your franchise defensive player.

By the way no Jets got within five yards of Suh. No one was going to try to run into him.

In the end one of the things that doomed the Lions was Suh missed kicked as they choked away the game.
