The Magic transformation is complete as they acquire Gilbert Arenas from the Washington Wizards.

They were able to get rid of Rashard Lewis whose contract is even worse than Arenas’ deal.

One of two things will either happen: either Gilbert will be reborn in Orlando or he will become Vince Carter 2.0.

The Magic had to make these changes because they weren’t going to be able to compete with their current lineup.

Who knows if this will all work out, but better than just standing pat.
