Not a lot of details are available right now, and with these cases, it is always innocent until proven guilty. But once again, we have an athlete who put himself in a very bad situation.

Here is what we know so far:

Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that Broncos cornerback Perrish Cox has been arrested for sexual assault.

The arrest occurred on Thursday nigh at 10:00 p.m. local time.  Cox currently is being held in the Douglas County Detention Center.

Cox is a rookie and has started eight games for the Broncos this year. When more details come out, we will be sure to update the story.  You know my position on this— if true, he should be thrown under the jail. But for now, he gets the benefit of the doubt.
