Since Carmelo Anthony being traded would be a huge story, I figured before I let the BSO Empire know about it, I would do some digging (as any responsible writer would do). And as of right now those rumors are false.

Melo has no intentions of signing a long term deal with the Nets, which is what would be required to get any deal done.

He will be in uniform with the Nuggets when they play Thursday night.

For now, there is nothing going on with Melo leaving the Nuggets—that could change at any time, but this particular story is a non- story.
