Tony Romo Finally Put on Injured Reserve
It never made logical sense to bring Romo back this year.
The risk far outweighed the reward and the Cowboys only had to look at how the Lions rushed Matthew Stafford back to see the potential pitfalls of throwing Romo back in the mix.
Next season is very important for Romo. He needs to take that next step as a quarterback or the Cowboys will have to start looking toward the future.
Here is a trivia question.
Who took Romo’s roster spot when he went on IR?
Teddy Williams from the practice squad. He’s a former track star who didn’t play college football. The Cowboys liked his ability at cornerback, but they recently moved him to wide receiver.
