Oh the irony.
Brett Favre started 297 games in a row.
Tarvaris Jackson’s amazing one game starting streak is OVER!!!!
Sounds about right.
Per a league source, Jackson will be placed on injured reserve due to a foot injury suffered on Monday night against the Lions. The move presumably clears a spot for Patrick Ramsey, the veteran quarterback who likely will start for the Vikings against the Bears, only days after joining the team.
So Farve is still active and Jackson’s season is over. I will assume that Jackson won’t be back in Minnesota. How he was treated in Minnesota wasn’t fair, but we all know the NFL isn’t a fair place. He had an opportunity to shine in these last games, but unfortunately he got hurt.
Maybe a fresh start somewhere else will be good for him, because the Curse of Favre seems to have did him in with the Vikings.
