Darryl Talley Cries on Twitter Because Vince Young Doesn’t Know Him

I am not a Vince Young apologist.

The #1 reason Vince Young has had issues in the NFL is because of Vince Young not anyone else. His immaturity and lack of dedication to the game is a problem he will need to address if he ever wants to be an elite quarterback.

With that being said, former Bills LB Darryl Talley is being extra Dunkin Hines moist.

He ran into Vince Young who didn’t recognize him, so now his panties are in a bunch (see tweets above).

Talley was the good, not great, Linebacker for the Bills during their four year Super Bowl run. When Talley was drafted by the Bills in 1983, Vince Young wasn’t even born.

I would imagine less than 5% of current NFL players, if they ran into Talley in the mall, would have any idea who he was. It’s not like he is Bruce Smith or Thurman Thomas—you know, Hall of Fame players.

The fact that he went to Twitter with his frustrations, just lets you know he is a bitter ex-NFL player, jealous that someone like Young who is a bit lazy, is making more in one year than he made in his entire career.

Vince Young saying his grandmother loves Talley, was professional ether at its finest. There are legitimate reasons to be critical of VY, but this isn’t one of them.

Knowing Talley isn’t going to make Young a better player—getting in the film room and learning about current NFL linebackers is what’s going to make him a better player.

Stop being so soft and sensitive Mr. Talley.

Talley, get a life. He is in denial that its 2011, who know you, your not a hall a famer or anything. And peps need to lay of Vince. We need to get more people to realize that, this is a dude who has won his whole life until he got to the titans. How is he suppose to handle adversity if know one mentors him or anything. I would be the first coach to pick him up and mold him

I find it funny that Talley is such an authority on Vince and his work ethic. All he and the rest of us know is what the organization has told us. And as is so typical of us, Vince has taken the high road and hasn't aired his coach or former organization's dirty laundry. Lastly, people can say what they want to about Vince, but what we do know is that he is a winner…His record as a starter with the Titans speaks for itself!

  6. I’m impressed, I have to say. Actually rarely do I encounter a weblog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your thought is outstanding; the issue is one thing that not enough individuals are speaking intelligently about. I am very comfortable that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
