Leslie Frazier to Become Permanent Head Coach of Vikings

The Vikings didn’t have a choice.

If they allowed Frazier to hit the open market another team would have signed him immediately. It shouldn’t have taken this long for Frazier to become a head coach in the NFL.

Leslie Frazier has agreed to become the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings, according to the Star Tribune of Minneapolis.

The deal is expected to be finalized Monday or Tuesday, the paper said.

As long as Brett Favre doesn’t come back I think Frazier will do fine in Minnesota. They are still a very talented team. The quarterback position has to be settled, but don’t be surprised if the Vikings bounce right back into playoff contention in 2011.
