Michael Vick Signs 1st Post-Prison Endorsement Deal With Unequal Technologies

I was under the impression that Vick had signed a deal with a local Nissan dealership he did some very funny commercials with during the season.

But come to find out that Vick did not get paid for those commercials, he just got to use the cars at his leisure (must be nice).

This is officially his first paying endorsement contract since paying his debt to society for being a Dog Pound Gangsta (No Snoop).

Vick has signed his first endorsement contract since his release from prison. The Philadelphia Eagles’ Pro Bowl quarterback inked a two-year contract with Unequal Technologies, a provider of the football pads Vick wore most of last season.

The deal will be announced on Thursday.

“We’re real excited about it,” chief executive officer Rob Vito said Tuesday. “Michael is good people. He paid his dues. President Obama reached out to him. He deserves an opportunity. This is what makes America so great. He’s moved forward. He’s a whole other person.”

Vito said Vick is the company’s first corporate spokesman. Terms of his deal weren’t disclosed. But Vito said it’s a “sizable” contract.

I am sure his creditors will be pleased by the the phrase “sizable contract”. As long as you perform on the field people are willing to overlook past mistakes.  Once advertisers see that the contracts will come flowing back in.

Happened with Kobe Bryant.

It will happen with Ben Roethlisberger.

Now it is happening with Vick.

The people who clothed their pets in sweatervests, will never forgive him for what he did to Scooby Doo, but those normally aren’t the people who buy athletic gear or the other things that advertisers would look to Vick for.

Hopefully he keeps up the good work, stays humble and continues to work on being the best “Quarterback” he can be.

  • Good people don't body slam living creatures until they're dead, deaf to the cries of pain and terror. There's some broken and unfixable in that individual (I can't even call him a man…) and he should never have been allowed back in football. I hope the company suffers financial backlash for aligning itself with that individual.

    • This is good news for Michael Vick and family!! Man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart. Prayerfully, Vick will continue to be faithful over what he has been given, as in another chance. The funny thing is, for these super pet owners, this will be a stumbling block to them. They're steady looking at Vick and God is steady looking at them, like "you expect me to forgive you but you won't forgive your brother?" LOL Get real people!!!

    • That's right Mary Ann hold on to all that hate..hopefully it wil eat you alive..

    • I am pretty sure someone you know have slapped their spouses, do you feel the same about them

  • I know what he did was terrible but he did the time for it. Tony Dungy worked with him to help restore his image and I'm pretty sure he is a spokesman against animal abuse.

  • Very useful thanks, I think your followers would probably want further content along these lines continue the great effort.

  • Extremely useful cheers, I believe your audience could possibly want considerably more writing of this nature continue the great effort.
