I actually thought Leon Washington should have been the comeback player of the year considering he had a bone sticking out of his leg the last time we saw him in 2009 and he had a very good year for the Seahawks.  He fit the criteria of the award a lot better.

Vick didn’t really come back from anything, since he was in the league last year just didn’t play very much.

You could say he came back to prominence in the NFL this year and back in the spotlight.  Good for him, he appears to be very grateful and humble which as we know is in short supply these days.

He should finish second in the NFL MVP vote and his reputation is slowly but surely coming back.

Hope he handles the attention better than the Homeless Guy with the Golden Voice.
