It had been a while since we had an Artest Quotable, but you knew it was just a matter of time.

Every time you get a technical foul in the NBA there is a fine.  When Artest was thrown out of a game with the Clippers for getting into it with Blake Griffin, his fined was $4000.

You could say that Artest wasn’t pleased, but his reason might surprise you.  SB Nation has the quote:

“I could’ve bought 10,000 In-N-Out Burgers,” he said. “I rather would’ve done that than give it away. I’m going to get 10 burgers [after Monday’s game]. I love In-N-Out. It’s addicting. It’s the only reason I’m here in L.A. If it wasn’t for In-N-Out Burger, I probably would’ve gone to Memphis or something.”

Artest should try Issac Hayes restaurant in Memphis.

The good news for Ron Ron, is that tech was rescinding so Artest can have as many In-N-Out Burgers as he likes.  I do know one thing if Artest was on the Grizzlies no one would be punching him on a plane.
