By now, everyone has seen the video (4 million plus to be exact) of Ted Williams, a homeless man who has a voice that was born to be on radio.
Like many homeless people, drugs and alcohol derailed his dreams and he couldn’t get back on track— but thanks to Youtube, Twitter, Facebook and the power of social media as whole, he is getting a second chance.
Jump to the five minute mark to listen in when he is offered a job and a house by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
That is beautiful thing for the Cavaliers organization to do and they should be applauded for that. Not many times in life you get an opportunity for redemption and to start over, but Mr. Williams, who says he has been clean for two years now, will get that chance.
Plus, according to CNBC, Darren Rovell of NFL Films maybe interested in hiring him as well.
I wish all the best for Mr. Williams and hope he takes advantage of his second chance in life.
